• To develop a cross-border gastronomic tour in Karelia.
• To improve marketing of Karelian cross-border tourism to raise awareness of both tourists and representatives of the tourism industry.
Project Kalitka will improve the quality of the gastronomic tourism product. It will enrich the gastronomic experience of visitors to Finland and Russia, and attract new tourist flow to the target area of the project.
We aim to stimulate the development of local small and medium-sized enterprises, increase employment and the contribution of culinary tourism to the local economy. For this, it is important to develop new ways to involve local producers in the tourism industry.
